I am asking about my dad. He is 84 years of age and the doctors hasn't said for sure he has cancer. But yet call it 4th stage. He has nausea all the time cant keep nothing down. Trying to find a solution to this. Some of the meds that he is taking is promethazine and ondansetron. Just looking for some help with this. Thank you for any advice

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Persistent nausea and vomiting may be due to anemia or gastritis or food intolerance or liver problems or raised intracranial pressure or renal failure or cholicystitis or renal stone or Septicemia or electrolyte imbalance etc.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.
Use prokinetic agent like Levosulfuride twice a day for five days.

Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
