Suggest Treatment For Persistent Neck And Back Pain

I have been seeing a chiropractor for about six weeks, i have 5 and 6 vertebrae in my neck that are degenerating. When I went in I had pain extreme in my left shoulder. He started a process of decompression that seems to be working, i was able to move the arm a little more. He had been easing me up a pound or two, each visit I was going 6 days a week. I was up to 22lbs. Well he was off one evening and had another physician do the decompression, he set it at 15lbs. and next day my doctor set it at 22lbs. I have witnesses. Now my neck hurts and my back. Could this have really added more damage to my neck.
