Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In The Shoulder Blades

for almost 2 weeks now i ve had this pain that starts at the left of my right shoulder blade in my back and runs up to my neck and down my right arm sometimes to my fingertips. it wakes me when i sleep. i have slept on ice packs and once a warm towel. any suggestions?

Hello,
Thank you for using healthcaremagic.
I read your question and understood your concern.
It looks like the origin of your problem is in the neck. It might be a discal hernia of the cervical spine (neck) that is compressing the nerve of the right arm.
I suggest you do a MRI of the neck and see a neurology specialist.
