Suggest Treatment For Persistent Right Sided Abdominal Pain

I am having extreme abdominal pain on the right side. I have had this for serveral months now. I have had a ct scan and am scheduled for a colonoscopy in two weeks....my doctor will do nothing about my pain and I think it is a hernia or complications from the hernia repair with mesh ten years ago. I also have had umbilical hernia repair.
