I am a 45 yr old female. I was driving today and had a sudden onset of photophobia. I was wearing sunglasses and still was unable to get relief. It was bad enough that i had to pull over on the side of the road. My eyes were watering and I was extremely uncomfortable. When I looked in the mirror my eyes were bloodshot but my eyes returned to normal fairly quickly when I was able to get indoors. I have an unremarkable medical history and take no meds. I do have a family history of glaucoma (maternal grandmother).
such onset are not related to glaucoma. however you can get your eyes examined including Measurement-of tension, fundus and field study can be done. with the result if glaucoma is excluded then forget about this disease..
