Suggest Treatment For Pimple Like Boil In My Thigh

Hello doctor There was a pimple or boil like one on my thigh and I squeezed it then a lot of blood came out. Next day some tissue out of the wound and now it is bigger and flare.. no pain though it is awful .. is that the major problem doctor thanks.

hi,
thanks for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you may have furuncle/ folliculitis or an abscess.
my treatment advise would be:
1. maintain hygiene.
2. you may need a course of oral antibiotics preferably tab augmentin 625 mg qid, if not allergic, after consulting a doctor.
3. you may also apply topical antibiotics like fusiderm cream twice a day.
4. for pain, you may take tab ibuprofen and tab levocetrizine od for itching.
5. it may also need drainage, if abscess present.
consult a doctor nearby for oral antibiotics
