Hello dr, i had pimple marks on my forehead so i visited dermatologist, he suggested Melalite 15 for marks n retino for pimples n Melaglow for daily use. now i got small bumps on face so i just wanted to know the reason. I mean is it allergy of medicines? In this case do i need to stop using above medicines?
As per your case history of acne pigmentation, my treatment advice is:
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30. 2. Apply a Clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on it. 3. Take a vitamin C supplement once daily for 3 months. 4. Other treatment options are oral Doxycyline, Minocycline and Isotretinoin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
