Suggest Treatment For Pimple On Stomach

My wife had what looked like a large pimple on the bottom corner of her stomach, above her thigh, it hurt when it was pressed. Anyways, I popped it, expecting it to go away. Now, a day later there s an open hole, slightly smaller than a dime, and it has pus filled inside that I was actually able to pull at with a tweezer. I sterilized the tweezer and pulled some out but there is more pus that I can t get to and I m getting nervous. We cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and it burned a ton. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Folliculitis is a bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis.
Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given.
Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance.
