Suggest Treatment For Pinched Nerve In Foot After An Injury
Hi thanks for taking time to share. I have a pinched nerve in my foot following an injury/scar. the sensation is similar to how mortons nueroma is descibed. is there a way for me to non surgically heal the nerve or to permanently numb or kill the nerve without damaging anything else? thanks again Aether
Hello Aether!
My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!
You should know that surgery is the best way to decompress the pinched nerve and help let it regenerate and also relieve the pain. Regarding other treatment options, there are only treatments for the pain, like pregabaline or gabapentine. These drugs can help relieve the pain, but not ta definite solution. The surgery in such case is really small and not painful. I would strongly encourage you to consult with a neurosurgeon on this issue.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best regards!
