Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there. I have a pinched thoracic nerve affecting my right shoulder blade. I have difficulty lifting my arm all the way. I have seen a physical therapist for it and it is getting better very very slowly. I was just curious if getting a shoulder brace would be an option that could help out with my discomfort and recovery time.
Hello, As per your condition, I am very much sure that your nerve is weak. Nerve recovery is a slow and long process. If you were my patient I would advise you to continue with the treatment. I would also like to suggest that shoulder braces for your condition might not be of much help. Hope I have answered all your queries. If you have any further questions I would be happy to help.
