Suggest Treatment For Pneumonia In A 12 Year Old Girl
My daughter is 12. Last Wed she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Was given a shot of antiobiotic, a Z pack and another 10 day antibiotic. Her fever has been from 104.5 down to 99 throughout this week and now back up to 102 tonight. She has a dry cough, as well. Dr said chest sounded clear on Monday. Any suggestions, or keep doing what were doing?

actually you should continue with the treatment and the thing that needs to be done is send a sputum pyogenic culture and sensitivity that can accurately define the causing organism and the perfect drugs that can kill that causitive agent. that is definitive therapy instead of empirical therapy
