Hello,
You have itchy
rash on the vagina and have history of
poison oak breakout that spread quickly. Place cool, wet compresses on the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes several times a day. It will give relief. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene, take bath regularly. Wear loose fitting soft cotton clothes. Do not touch, scratch or squeeze as it will only cause spread of infection and worsening of the symptoms.
Take non-sedating anti-histamines, one SOS when required for relieve. You can apply ointment
hydrocortisone on the area affected to reduce discomfort. Don’t use vaginal sprays or douche for a couple of days, you can use a fragrance-free moisturizer to prevent dryness. You are suggested to eliminate anything that can be irritating to your skin, such as detergents, soaps, dryer sheets, talcum powders, and skin creams. Wash your clothes frequently in hot water. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
