Suggest Treatment For Polypoid Mucosal Thickening In Maxillary Sinus On CT Scan
I was told I have significant polypoid mucosal thickening and also severe circumferntial mucosal thickening in the left maxiillary sinus per CT scan. My ENT put me on a round of antibiotics and steroids. He said if that doesn t help, then it is surgery time. Is it worth going on the steroids and antibiotics or is this just a waste of time.
If your suffering with symptoms of sinusitis you may take above medication. If you're asymptomatic no signs of nasal block you just continue antibiotic only. Of symptoms not improved then need nasal endoscopy and treat you accordingly.
