Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Niraj Modi's Response
Hi this is Dr NIRAJ, after stroke having temporary or immediate memory loss is seen in many people aspecialy if Pt is also old. But don't worry I suggest to give him some good multi vitamins and mineral supplement along with omega 3and protein, and yes do check with your existing doctor too. Usually if patient have sever kidney issue then need to be careful on protein. Or else fine. And rest he has to do regular physio treatment at least to start with for few days to learn the exercise which he can do on his own also later on. And that will help him for gaining lower limb as well upper limb functional mobility. Take care. For numbness to it will improve as he takes supplement and start with exercise. If not then need to visit neuro physician and need to do some investigation again. Take care

It is common symptom after stroke patient will have limping due to leg muscles are not fully functional. As well forgetting things are also common synptom depending on which area of brain is affected. But I suggest to do physical therapy to get muscle strength as well functional daily mobility. As well take proper anti inflammatory medication suggested by your doctor to reduce further damage. And do check his blood pressure regularly daily morning. If it stays high then need to change medication too. Rest all will be all right. Take care
