Suggest Treatment For Popping Ear

hello. I am experiencing an excess in mucus, ears constantly popping, pressure in the ears and extreme fatigue. I have previously been to the doctor and have taken an antibiotic because I had an infection with green mucus. Now I dont believe I have an infection but I cant seem to shake these symptoms.

Hi,

As per your query, you have symptoms of popping ear which is due to eustachian tube dysfunction and chronic upper respiratory tract infection.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain hygiene of ear canal and avoid itching and pricking it with sharp object. Do warm saline gargles. Put otogesic drops in ear.

Avoid excessive use of mobile. You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin for one week. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get audiometry done along with otoscopic examination and start treatment after proper diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
