Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am taking Olmetec Plus (20 mg/a2.5 mgs.) and I am concerned about leeching potassium from my system. Currently, with my doctor s approval, I am only taking 1/2 a pill each morning and a low-dosage of Adalat at bedtime (Calcium Channel Blocker).
Hello, You can increase the potassium levels naturally by consuming more of fruits like banana, oranges, coconut water and vegetables like spinach, broccoli etc.,however this will be beneficial only if There is mild reduction in potassium levels. If levels are moderately or more low then, you have o go for synthetic potassium like POT KLOR syrup. Don't take anything without talking o your treating doctor. Thanks
