Suggest Treatment For Pressure In Ears And Loss Of Balance

Hi My ears have been popping over the last few weeks and i didnt think much about it but about 4 days ago they have been popping constantly (like when you fly) its really bugging me now. its a little sore. its making it hard to concentrate and my balance is off. Regards Ashley

Hi thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,you might be suffering from Eustachian tube blockage.It is a tube which connects the middle ear with the nose and is responsible for equalization of middle ear pressure with the outer atmospheric pressure.In case of tube blockage,it will result in negative middle ear pressure which might result in fluid can middle ear giving complains like Pressure in the ear,Dizziness.

You may find relief by taking following medication:
Oral decongestant like Phenylephrine,Nasal decongestant like Xylometazoline(take decongestant only if you are not suffering from hypertension), Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,Mucilytic like Ambroxol,Antinflammatory like Ibuprofen and Antivertigo medicine like Betahistine.

Also do steam inhalation.Drink lots of warm fluids.Avoid cold food and dust.Dont walk in the dark.
