Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Headache

Hi, I have been having this on-going headache for the past four months. In the morning, it s like I don t even have one but I can still feel like it s there. I feel groggy all the time from this. I honestly don t even know if I have a headache or not anymore it feels like. When I lay down, it feels a lot better but when I do physical stuff and school work, it becomes worse. Can you please inform me if this is a more serious condition and how to get rid of this headache?

Hi,

Your clinical history gives an impression that you may have 'stress headache'. I would like to know if you are going through mental stress/depression/anxiety these days. If yes, addressing them may help in alleviating your symptoms. Mental relaxation exercises like meditation/yoga are likely to bring improvement.

You should also get your routine blood work and thyroid function tests done. Hypothyroidism and anemia may frequently cause such symptoms.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions, I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Regards,
