Suggest Treatment For Psoriasis

Am a 62 year old male with a polyglandular diagnois I have lived with for 30 years. I have a hypothroid condition and take Synthroid for it daily I also have had psoriasis for the past 15 years....controlled with Stellara injections and over counter lotions I of course have very low testosterone, supplemented by a lotion I use daily and ED that I manage using Viagra. What concerns me is that I have had recent episodes of imbalance even while sitting down. Like a 5-10 second surge that scares me.....makes me very dioriented but last just seconds. Seems to be worse when I am tired ,,,,,stressed or anxious. I feel its more than anxiety or panic attacks Worry I could have some sort of blockage in my brain.....or tumor... My primary is dismissing it that I have too much stress and gave me pills for anxiety.....not helping Last symptom ....constantly dehyrated.....my optomitrist says I have dry eyes also. Thinking of asking primary for CT scan or MRI to rule out tumor, blockage. No family history of such disorders.......Am scared....hope you have some ideas.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history of psoriasis, my treatment advice is:

1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it.
3. Apply a potent steroid cream like Clobetasaol cream twice daily on the affected skin.
4. Other treatment options are oral multivitamins, and oral methotrexate is given only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
