Suggest Treatment For Puffy Swollen Face Along With Itchy Neck Area

I used Dove body wash Lemonverbeena fragrance was in it. my face and eyelids are puffy and swollen as well as my neck is itching and burning. I assume a allergic reaction to the body wash. I tried the Benadryl pills nothing to a slow response is happening. Can I use the liquid Benadryl for a faster result. Ms. Hunter

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed acute urticaria.
It is an allergic condition.
Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria.
You need to find out the cause.
Treatment can be with oral anti histamines.
Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
