Suggest Treatment For Purple To Grey Bruise On Foot

Please help The outside edge of my boyfriends foot is a deep purple bruise that is turning gray/white. it pains him to have basically anything touch it. We have been to the ER and the blood work comes back fine, nothing strange or irregular at all. They have not taken an x ray though. I m really worried and dont know what else to do.

Hi.
As per your case history your boyfriend is probably having a traumatic purpura rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. Wear loose clothes to avoid further pressure on affected site.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
