Suggest Treatment For Raised Body Temperature And Sweating

I can feel my body start to heat up slowly and then I am sweating. This happens at all hours, and several (about15-20 times) of the day or night. It lasts for about 5-10 minutes and then I am fine until the next bout comes on. I am 46, eat very little red meat or fried foods, and I exercise 3-5 time a week hard core. (3-5 miles a day running and then lift weights).

Hello
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query. Your symptoms are suggesting that you are having hormonal problems most probably related to thyroid disorder. These symptoms are suggesting that you are having hyperactive thyroid.

So I would suggest you to do a thyroid profile to check your thyroid status.

As you have not mentioned your sex in the query. If you are a female, these symptoms of hot flushes are common in perimenopausal age group. So you have been to take hormonal replacement therapy.

Hope this helps you .
Thank you
