Do I actually need to be taking toporol 25. I exercise regularly, weight is well into range, feel good most of time, & have carefully watched diet since recently seeing sugar increase slightly. I experience the fast heart rate once or twice mo. Startles me, once in awhile blurs vision but is all over in about 5 secs. Take supplements & do not want to take med not necessary

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Symptom of blurred vision with history of hypertension or taking drug for that need to be looked for cerebral circulation disturbances condition must not be taken as granted, of course symptom could be due to other condition it could be nonspecific still it has to be ruled out for cerebral vascular disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtar Husain
