Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Treatment of acne is guided by the severity of acne. From your description you seem to have inflammatory acne. If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to start on oral antibiotics e.g either Doxycycline Or Azithromycin Or Minocycline. The duration of treatment being guided by the response and severity of acne Topical you may use either Benzoyl peroxide Or Clindamycin gel as a spot treatment for active acne. At night I usually recommend Topical Retinoids e.g Adapalene gel to my patients. Retinoids are antiinflammatory and comedolytic; therefore prevent new acne in addition to treating existing ones. I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your region. Your dermatologist will assess the severity of your acne and advice accordingly. You may also opt for a few sessions of chemical peeling if your dermatologist suggests you.
