I was diagnosed with scabies about a year ago and used the creams to get rid of it. Ever since I used the last of the cream last December I have had a strange rash on my chest and it has still not gone away. At first I attributed it to after effects of the scabies but I went to my primary care physician today and they told me it was definitely not scabies. It is a pimple like rash that is very itchy and has a tiny bit of pimple like pus when you pop them or just clear liquid. They are EXTREMELY itchy and become even more raised when I itch them. Sometimes there are one or two bumps and sometimes there are twenty but it has not gone away since December. Help!
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM. as per your history, you may have papular urticaria or acneiform eruption or allergic reaction. my treatment advise would be: 1. maintain hygiene and wear loose cotton clothes. 2. you can apply clindamycin 1% gel twice a day for 2 weeks over the lesions. 3. if there is pus discharge, antibiotics has to be started after consulting a dermatologist. 4. you can take tab levocetrizine twice a day for itching. scabies generally affects web spaces of fingers and genitals area, so scabies is unlikely. hope, it helps. wishimng you good health. thak you.
