Suggest Treatment For Rashes And Swelling Around Eye

Hi.. I used mac eye make up remover. After 5 minutes I developed rashes and swelling around my eye area and checks. It started to itch. My doc advised to have L Hist medicine twice a day for 5 days . I can see swelling is subsiding but skin has become dry around that area. Pl recommend some ointment for the same. Should clop cream clobetasel propionate or canesten s be affective?

Hi.
As per your case-history u are have irritant contact dermatitis due to mac-eye make up remover. I would like to give you following advice-
1. Never ever use such cosmetic prduct again
2. Continue l-hist medicine as per advice given
3. For dryness use emolient like enmoist cream or Venussia cream
4. Dont use Clop cream -it is potent steroid, never used on face
5. Dont use canesten cream- it is anti-fungal cream, not effective in your case.
