I have a rash on the inside of my earlobe. I had one inch gauges about a year ago and I put them back in a few days ago and of course they are smaller but since I put them in my left ear has been stinging and hurts allot but I have looked at it in the mirror and there are no cuts so I m not sure what s wrong

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The rash may be dermatitis which is inflammation of the skin or it may be due to bacterial or fungal infection.

If there is no discharging areas then bacterial infection is not likely.

A mild topical steroid cream would help if it is dermatitis whereas an antifungal cream would be needed for a fungal infection.

You may need to see your doctor to determine the likely cause.

I hope this helps
