Suggest Treatment For Reccuring Cold And Fever In A Child
Doctor, we are living in chennai, India. my son would get affected during cold season (right from mid september till feb end). Previously he was detected for tonsilities operation but subsequently the doctor advised to postpone the same as he is recovering. However he would get infected to cold due to climate/outside environment and if fever comes it would shoot to 104 deg f. and we are nervous if he get infected to cold; caugh; fever; etc. Becuase of this, consistency in both his academic and sports (a basket ball player) is missing. Please advise to come out of the problem.

This could be allergic condition and does not need any specific treatment and this may come around with general measurement only, like drinking more water steam inhalation, hot drinks, in very sever condition antihistamine can be tried and best option is Tab Levocetrizine 10 mg once in day, pure honey can be tried have a nice day, take care.
