Suggest Treatment For Rectal Bleeding

Hello Doctor When I go to the toilet and pass solids, I have noticed that I am bleeding. I have noticed that at time of wiping only. This is first time i have experiencing this. I am going to bed bit lately, and also i am taking meal bit lately, Since i am away from home country, the timing of sleep got changed. Is there an over-the-counter ointment I can use?

Hi there,
Thanks for using HCM.
There are many different causes for rectal bleeding. Fissures, piles, colitis and malignancy are some of the common causes of rectal bleeding.
You need to get a colonoscopy test done to know the cause of rectal bleeding. The treatment depends on the cause.
