Hello,

Your symptom is indicative that your fistula is infected. Clean the private area with water and antibacterial soap. Take sitz bath at least two times a day. Take fluids and water to prevent constipation. Take fiber supplements or food rich in fiber. Since you are having recurrent infection, you will be treated with a course of antibiotics like Augmentin.

For relieve you can apply ointment Rectiv in the affected area, it will help to treat moderate to severe pain caused by the long-term tears in the lining of the anal fistula. The ointment will help to relax the muscles around the blood vessels, thus reducing the pressure around the anus and relieves pain. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a surgeon/ urologist you may be recommended treatment by surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
