Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Sore Throat
I have had a sore throat earlier in the month and was prescribed amoxicillin I took the full dose and it went away for like three days but now my throat is sore again and I seem to be getting discolored mucus again. He indicated earlier there was no strep throat what should I do

Please continue with Amoxicillin for another 1 week. this will improve your symptoms. But generally antibiotic are not prescribed in sore throat. You can have antiallergic Levocetirizine for 2 week. And if not taken still now please start Betadine gargle after food.
