Suggest Treatment For Recurring Rash On The Groin Area

I have a reoccurring rash in the groin area It starts out with burning then developes red bumps I have been to a derma toligist she said they don t know what causes it , but think it has something to do with hormones. I m a cancer serviver 5 yrs Tomoxiphen,etc. What can I do?

Hello,

Thanks for writing here.

To be very simple rash in groin suggests a fungal infection.Your lowered immunity due to cancer also can be a cause for fungal infection.Just apply miconazole gel for 2 weeks.Keep area dry and clean.In case there is no improvement oral antifungals like terbinafine will be needed.
