Suggest Treatment For Recurring Swollen Gland On Right Side Of Throat

I have a swollen gland on the right side of my throat. I have had this before, and it usually goes away within a day or two. Usually I assume it s allergies, sinus inflicted. This time it s lasted a week and the discomfort seems to dissipate with ibuprofen, but then it returns again.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
The recurring gland must be investigated:
I would advise you to go for ultrasonography or CT scan of the neck, clinical examination of the ENT Part to see for the infection in the drainage area like caried tooth or tonsillitis and so.
Blood, urine tests, Mantoux for TB and Quantiferone gold test for TB.
FANC or biopsy of the node to determine the cause and treatment of the primary by medicines or surgery as it may be indicated by the diagnosis.
A prior course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory will help to get a permanent relief.
