Suggest Treatment For Recurring Tonsillitis
I am an 18 year old female who has had reoccurring tonsillitis 12 times in 16 months. It has been severe, as on three occasions I was so unwell I was believed to have glandular fever. I have a consultation to getting my tonsils out next week. I am worried about the surgery. I have had a copper coil fitted for 10 weeks, can I have the surgery?

You need to do the surgery. If you have such frequent episodes, then it is the best time to have the surgery.
If you do not do the surgery, then you will get affected by repeated infections. All you need is the surgery. Go through it.
Have proper antibiotic after the surgery and do Betadine gargle thrice daily after food.
