i keep having recurring urinary tract infections i am treated with different antibiotics but nothing seems to work i have just got over another one where i have to take to my bed for 72hrs through vomiting fever and headache with painful neck also that was 2 days ago thought i was getting better but now i have fever again and i keep going hot and cold and im aching again why does it keep coming back
In this case of repeat infection and repeated usage of antibiotics without a result, an uroculture is needed and antibiogram.
You should take antibiotics that come out of antibiogram to treat the infection. Taking lots of water and cranberry juice can help you with this situation. Also taking ibuprofen for pain relief is advisable.
