Suggest Treatment For Red And Swollen Ear After Injury

My don hit the left side of his head on the coffee table he seems fine but his ear is red and swollen suddenly I applied cold pack and children s ibuprofen just a little but its still swollen not red though..should I take him to the em emergency room..its hasn t,been,24 hours yet not even 8hrs

Hi,

If the redness has gone it suggests you can wait. But the swelling doesn't go or increases and pain not relieving rather increasing then you must see the doctor. Cold fomentation will definitely help in reducing pain and swelling.
