Suggest Treatment For Red, Dark Skin After Applying Salicylic Acid
I applied a 20% salicylic acid wart remover on my nose for this wart looking thing but I don t think it s a wart it looks like a bubble of skin and it s dark. I applied too much around the skin and it left like a red mark around the dark skin and it s been about 3 weeks and it hasn t gone away. Will this heal?

Hi. I think such self treatments are potentially harmful and might leave permanent marks. You are not even sure of diagnosis and applied 20% salicylic acid! Anyway, think of it as chemical burn caused by salicylic acid. you need sun screens, moisturizers, mid potent steroid for a week and consult a dermatologist. Hope it answers your queries.
