Suggest Treatment For Red, Puffy, Swollen And Irritated Eyes After Swimming

I have extremely red, puffy, swollen, and irratated eyes after swimming without goggles for more than an hour. I understand most people get puffy, red eyes after swimming without goggles, but my symptoms seem to be at a much greater extent. Why is this and how can i treat it?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having red, puffy, swollen and irritated eyes following swimming. These symptoms usually indicate infection of the eyes in the form of conjunctivitis.
Swimming pool acquired conjunctivitis is one of the common types of conjunctivitis and it is because of infection acquired while swimming as a result of contamination of the water.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
