Suggest Treatment For Red Specked Spots All Over After Sun Exposure

I was in the sun this weekend and on the front of my shins I have these red specked spots all over ( each spot no bigger then a pin tip). They are on both shins and only the shins. No where else on my body. Left shin worse then the right. They do no itch and they are not raised they are just there. A friend said she gets them from the sun but I never have before and there are no where else.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Red spots on both shins may be Schamberg's disease. It is progressive pigmented purpurin dermatosis. It is a benign condition of unknown cause. Longtime standing may be the major contributing factor. Kindly consult the dermatologist. No treatment is required. It may vanish by itself after long time.

Still,I would suggests...

- vitamin C
- vitamin K
- thrombophob ointment with mild steroid cream
- avoid long time standing

This would help you.

Thanks.
