On my right upper cheek is a bright red spot. At times it is hot or not even as noticeable. It is usually shows up Late in the afternoon. The left cheek is not as bright or hot. This started about maybe a month ago and today feels the hottest ever. I have had a headache for the last 3 days which is not common, and a low grade fever today.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your have symptoms of red spot on cheek which could be due to allergic reactions to substances causing irritation of the skin, irritation due to use of cosmetic, dermatitis, or eczema , contact dermatitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply topical benzoyl peroxide gel once or twice daily would have been best in this type of situation. You should take diet rich in fluids and drink plenty of water. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses on them , take antihistamine like benadryl , do not pick them at all and apply moisturizer. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination and rule out cause like bullous pemphigoid. Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid or antibiotics course. You can apply combination of topical adapalene and nadifloxacin gel at night.
