Hi, I keep getting slightly large red spots on my buttocks area and they become extremely sore when sitting down. I don t get spots anywhere else apart from my forehead when I am menstruation is there any chance you know what these are. They tend to leave scars as well which can make things embarrassing. Thanks
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on buttocks which seems to be due to improper cleanliness of area, due to hair follicle infection by bacteria, clogging of skin pores and due to fungal infection. Need not to worry. You should avoid sharing your clothes with anyone else. I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. Avoid touching or pricking it. Wear loose clothes. Take oral antibiotic course as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should take complete antibiotic course.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
