Suggest Treatment For Reddish Blotches On Back Of Mouth
I have noticed a reddish purple blotches that are on both sides of one of the arches in the back of my mouth. I have a little burning sensations but swallowing is mostly normal. I have quit chewing for about 6 months now and just had a dental checkup and was negative fir I ran cancer. But don t know how long these blotches gave been there. They are not spots but run from the bottom towards the top.

I would advise you the following: - Get throat swab to be tested and the routine tests of blood and urine . - CT scan of the Para nasal sinuses to see for an occult focus of infection. X-ray of the chest for the same reasons. If you take a proper treatment under the care of an ENT surgeon you will get alright. It will comprise of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine. Take a course of 3 weeks, may get cured.
