Suggest Treatment For Redness And Spots On The Legs

I have a planar diabetic ulcer about 6 days ago I developed an odor and merky discharge. Culture was made and a positve to a bacteria .treated with amox clav 875 still leg is warm swollen and spoted redness after 5 daysin treatment .im thinking blood coth because now both feet swells. ?

Hello,

As per your case history of spots on legs, my treatment advice is –

1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
