Suggest Treatment For Redness On The Healed Area Of The Skin

Hi doctor, I have a mini scar from an accident. It has been healed apparently but the colour of the new healed area (red) is not in line with the skin colour of the rest of the face. I just wonder if there is any way to make to red colour go away faster ? Thank-you

Hello,

As per your case history of scar, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a Placentrex gel twice daily on the affected skin.
3. Take a vitamin E supplement once daily for 30 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral multivitamins, topical steroid cream given only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
