My husband suffered a cardiac arrest 1 year ago and has retinal detachment he feels that he is going blind. I also feel that his physio therapy and swimming are not improving as well as could be due to this problem. Is retinal attachment surgery possible? and what could be the complications with it??
get it examined by retinal surgeon. he will examine asses the suitability of surgery. vetriectomy with replace mentfollowed by laser application, scleral buckling are the option available. retina surgeon will decide the option. phy physiotherapy and sweeming will not improve the condition. it will rather aggravate.
