M vishal 25aged Moderate comadone acne on cheeks forehead tried benzoyl peroxide and adapalane indidually for Short course on face. oral doxy once a day.Its been 1mnth no improvement .noticed retinoid dermatitis got resolved with short course topical steroid.willing for further treatment.
Hi. As per your case history of retinoid dermatitis, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 1 month. 4. It is not advisable to apply topical steroid on face without consulting a dermatologist. 5. Once redness is resolved, then you can go for comedone extraction.
