Suggest Treatment For Rough Patches Of Skin In A Child

Hi , My 1.5 years daughter has sone kind of skin allergy which she developed from age of 7 months and its still persists.We r thinking it to be sone kind of food allergy.But we r unable to makeout.She has developed rough patches on her cheeks which is there since she is 7 motnhs and when I started weening process.Please advise.

By your description it seems the child has sebaceous dermatitis. which is a pretty common condition. It usually disappears by age of 2 years. But till then proper and regular treatment is necessary. as this causes severe itching. And scratching by child may aggravate it. You may consult a skin specialist or a pediatrician.
