Suggest Treatment For Ruptured Eardrum And Ear Infection

Hello. I had an ear infection and a ruptured ear drum. After all the medication was completed, the ringing in my ear started about a week later. I went to the ENT and he said there was a piece if skin on the ear drum and a tiny hair. He removed both of these and the ringing hasn t stopped but is has lessened in tone. y My question would be is this a true case of tinnitus or just a reaction to the items being on the ear drum and if so how long before it repairs itself? Thanks Patrick
