Suggest Treatment For Scabies Infection
I had scabies and I would scratch my legs so hard that my it caused bruising. Its been about 2 and a half weeks since I treated the scabies with a cream the dermatologist gave me. There is something else wrong with me because i scratch my legs just a little bit and the next day I have major major bruising. The bruising has been happening for 2 months, and I have not been able to show my legs. its not normal bruising its splotchy and deep bruising. Is there something in my blood or do I have an iron deficiency or something? I am only 20 years old.

Hello, let me brief you about the treatment of scabies first (just make sure that you applied the cream in the right manner).
Apply HH Mite cream (5% permethrin 30 g) all over the body below jawline at evening, making sure that u have covered axilla, finger webs, soles, genitalia also, use entire 30 g pack in a single sitting..Wash after 12 hrs (next day morning)....Do the same after 7 days (total 2 applications)
Wash all clothes, beddings used in the last 7 days
Take tab cetrizine 10 mg at bedtime for 10 days
treatment of all coresidents whether or not they have symptoms with HH Mite cream as advised.
Now, if you develop bruising at this age just on scratching which is a trivial minor trauma, i would adv you to get a complete blood count, bleeding time and clotting time. If these are normal, i would suggest visitng a dermatologist for evaluation.
