Sciatica is usually due to nerve root compression in lumbosacral spine
Other than gabapentin, available options are:
1. Tab pregabalin
2. Duloxetine
3. amitryptyline

if medications not much effective, Get MRI LS Spine done and if severe nerve compression there, Surgery can be a option
